Hi y’all! Welcome to The Country Road Mom. My name is Amber. In this blog you’ll be joining me from my craft room, to my kitchen, to softball field or wherever else life may take us. Here at my blog we will be exploring do it yourself projects and crafts, sewing, scrapbooking, planners, planning, home organization, softball, parenting and more.
So you can get to know me a little I am 33, a wife, a mother and so much more. I’m a small town girl born and raised in Oregon. I grew up in a farming family, on a country road, just outside a small town in the Willamette Valley. I was a member of 4-H and the FFA and my agricultural roots run deep.
At 20 I moved to the big city where I met and married my husband, who was serving in the US Army. After my husband finished his time in the service we moved to his home town in southeastern Tennessee. We live on a country road on the edge of the Great Smokey Mountain Parker.
One of the biggest struggles in my life is time management. I am now the accounting manager for a medical supply company in Georgia. I work a regular Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 schedule. This can often make it hard to balance the busy life of my Harry Potter crazed 11 year old daughter. When I am not working (and even when I am working) I am busy trying to get her school, softball or one of the many other things she has going on.
When I do manage to find spear time I spending it here at The Country Road mom. I hope you’ll enjoy joining me from my craft room, to my kitchen, to softball field or wherever else life may take us.
I hope you will follow me on Pinterest and Instagram.
