Amazing Custom Happy Planner Covers For The Creative Mom

The number one reason I love my Happy Planner so much is that it is completely customizable front to back. Confession time, life has gotten ahead of me this year and I haven’t been using my planner as much as I should. As a result, I dedicated some time a couple of weeks ago to get my planner organized and up to date so I could use it. One of the updates I wanted to make was a new cover to give my planner a fresh new feel. I was pleased to discover there are some amazing custom Happy Planner covers for the creative mom out there.

Premade Purchased Happy Planner Covers

It doesn’t matter if you’re creative or not for this first option. Purchasing a premade, ready-to-use cover is by far the easiest and simplest choice available. Hop on over to The Happy Planner website, Amazon, or your local craft supply store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby and just pick out a new cover. No supplies or creativity needed. Two other option available here is the planner zip folios. While these may not be the classic cover I was looking for it does cover your planner. These zip folios offer pockets to put your stickers, stencils, and other supplies in. However, there is a disadvantage to these options and that is the lack of customization. Ultimately when you buy something that is mass-produced you lose some of the uniqueness.

Etsy

Etsy is a great option for premade happy planner covers because it allows you room for creativity and customization. While a cover found on Etsy may not be one of a kind they can allow for unique personality expression. Ask yourself what kind of image or style do you want to project? Perhaps you’re an Audrey Hepburn and Tiffany’s inspired cover type of person. Maybe you’re more of a put your hat on and be the witch type of person. Or maybe you’re somewhere in between but no matter where you fall Etsy will have something in your wheelhouse.

Designing Your own Cover

Obviously, the most creative cover is going to be one you design yourself. My first custom cover was self-designed and printed. It was remarkably easy. I chose all of the graphics I wanted. I designed the layout, printed and laminated it, and boom new one-of-a-kind cover. While trying to find a new cover that fit my personality on Etsy I came across an amazing wrap-around canvas cover by Lukiedukie that sparked my creativity. While the advertised design was very pretty I immediately envisioned something that would uniquely represent me, something I could pour my creativity and brand into. I messaged the shop owner, who immediately messaged me back that she could make the solid black cover I was looking for. After I ordered immediately and got my new cover a week later. I spent the next several weeks adding custom vinyl designs with my Cricut and Cricut Heat Press.

As with every other feature of the Happy Planner, the cover proves just versatile and customizable as the rest. I hope you’ll enjoy finding the perfect cover for you.
