Pinterest Cover Pin for Amazing Fall Bucket List Ideas

Confession time! Fall is my favorite time of year and yes I’m one of those people that believe that pumpkin spice should be put out the week after the 4th of July. Seriously though fall comes and the weather is cooling down, the cute sweaters, and a course apple and pumping everything! After being unable to get out last year during the lockdown I wanted to make sure this year’s fall bucket list was on point. Here are over forty items from my fall bucket list.

Apple & Pumpkin Everything!

For me, the first sign that fall is coming is when all the apple and pumpkin-flavored things come out. Starbucks puts out their pumpkin spice muffins and salted caramel drinks. Next thing you know you’re apple picking at the local apple orchards and then picking out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. Going apple picking at your local apple orchard is always fun for the whole family. Plus your orchard will more than likely offer the opportunity to check multiple items off the fall bucket list. Grab a bag of apples to take home to make apple cider, go apple bobbing, and/or back a pie with. Never tried making apple cider before? Check out these three ways from SeasonSprinkles.com. Check out the Apple & Pumpkin-related fall bucket list items below.

Outside Adventures

Another key sign that fall is well on its way is the changing weather. Cooler days make for great afternoon outings. Visit your local pumpkin patch, pick up some pumpkins for carving and take a hayride. The cooler evenings are great for watching the sunset and then enjoy a bonfire and roast some marshmallows and make s’mores with your friends. Also as the weather changes so do the leaves. This is a perfect time of year to take a leaf tour and enjoy the changing foliage. Since moving to the south one of my big bucket list items is to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall. Check out these other outside adventure ideas from my fall bucket list.

Another fall tradition for our family is for me to wear my cute sweater and get the gang together for family pictures for our Christmas card. 17 Comments on Forty Plus Items for Your Fall Bucket List This Year

  1. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons of the year and I am loving every item on your list, particularly I am absolutely down for a Harry Potter Marathon! Thanks for sharing, I will be using it!

  2. We will definitely be doing some of these! Others just aren’t possible in South Texas where we don’t have much of a fall season. For example, the leaves don’t really fall here so no piles to jump in. And my boys scare easily so no haunted houses. But I LOVE that you have a Harry Potter marathon on here! That’s great any time of the year.

  3. I’d like to do some of these things with my family this fall. Thank you for sharing.

  4. I’ve always wanted to go to a “pick your own” farm, I will have to look and see if our local farm is doing that this year or not. There are a lot of great options on this list!

  5. I love the fall! We usually do a corn maze. The kids have a blast! And it it was raining not long before, they get the added bonus of splashing in the mud! There’s so much to do! Thanks for sharing, I’ll have to start planning my weekends!

  6. This post makes me even more excited for the upcoming fall season! I love outdoor fall activities…it’s such a cozy season. Great ideas!

  7. I do need to make a list with some of the things on your list, so my family and I can enjoy Fall. Looking for things outside and not crowded.

  8. This is such a fun list for the Fall. I know I definitely plan on going to the Apple orchard for apple picking and to go on a hay ride while also drinking apple cider.
